The Kansas City Chiefs were once the darlings of the NFL as they were embarking on their mission to topple the Patriots dynasty, but now they’ve become the heel as they look to add to their own story. But Dan just can’t see them as the bad guys no matter how tired fans are of seeing them dominate the league.
Dan Patrick: “I think they came along at a time where we were like, ‘Yeah, somebody other than the Patriots!’ And then all of a sudden it’s like now we’re waiting for somebody other than the Kansas City Chiefs. But, I mean, Patrick Mahomes? He’s not a villain. (Travis) Kelce? Andy Reid? Chris Jones? I don’t get it. I think we’re tired of the story.”
