No Such Thing as a Sure Thing in the NFL Draft

Dan Patrick reminds us that drafting Trevor Lawrence or Zach Wilson doesn’t guarantee anything. Drafting a quarterback has always been a dicey proposition at best. Failed prospects are littered throughout NFL history while successes have been few and far between. In the long run, success or failure likely has more to do with the team that is doing the drafting than the skill of the QB in question.
